Understanding the Gamer’s Paradigm
I’ve always loved video game marketing. There’s just something about the energetic, fierce branding of video games that really makes me passionate about the video games I love.
When I created my WatchDogs survey a while ago, I was surprised to see that the majority (and I mean a majority) of the four thousand respondents were male. This was very shocking to me! However, it got me thinking about the greater picture of the gaming industry.
Has the video game industry forgotten about other groups in society such as women and seniors? Or are these other societal groups naturally just not interested in games?
